Disney World: a controversial restaurant with menus at nearly 300 dollars

Since its reopening last July, the famous  Victoria & Albert restaurant, located within Florida 's Disney World park  , has considerably increased its prices. Considered a high-end place, our colleagues across the Atlantic from the New York Post said that it now offers menus for which you have to pay, at a minimum, nearly $295 per person , compared to $185 before the Covid pandemic. -19. 

The second menu, called La Table du Chef, costs $425 and has therefore seen an increase of $75. For this tidy sum, you can nevertheless taste caviar, scallops, Texas wild boar and Kobe beef . Note that these taste experiences do not include the price of wine, for which you have to count almost 200 dollars more.  

This significant price increase has led to misunderstanding and rejection by many people on social networks. Thus a user of the  Reddit site  assured that there was “ no chance that he would spend $300 per person to eat food”. Another indicated that it was possible to "live a 3 star Michelin experience at Alinea in Chicago for the same price. Unreal". These new rates have clearly been poorly received by customers.

The opening reflects our founding chef Josefina Howard’s vision of introducing Mexican culinary traditions and authentic Mexican heritage to the world,” said Jim Dunn, CEO of Rosa Mexicano. “Once the restaurant opens, we will offer the Orlando market a fresh take on Mexican food, authentic Mexican heritage, culinary techniques and lively dining.”
