Evo Morales celebrates AMLO's "resounding victory" in the revocation

Mexico City. The former president of Bolivia, Evo Morales Ayma, celebrated the "resounding victory" of Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador in the process of revoking his mandate.

Through his social networks, the Bolivian leader stated: “From #Bolivia we congratulate the brother president of #Mexico, &commatlopezobrador_ , for his resounding victory in the first and historic recall referendum. The worthy Mexican people support their policies to fight corruption, exclusion and neoliberalism”.

Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard Casaubón thanked the former Bolivian president for his words on Twitter. “Thank you, Comrade Evo, I hug Bolivia and its brother people from Mexico,” he pointed out.

Previously, after participating in a signing agreement between Telecomm and the Institute of Mexicans Abroad, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the revocation showed that President López Obrador has popular support and emphasized that participation does not it was lower since the president obtained more votes than many of his opponents in presidential elections.
